Family Matters

Makayla has been doing much better since we got the mightly teething tablets! I also think finally the teeth have cut through. And once that happens it just gets better from there. She has been acting much better. Almost back to her normal self. We also got her this toothbrush thing you put on your finger and some kid toothpast and you can bruch your childs teeth. Since Makayla is eating almost everything we eat, and her teeth are almost all in. It is important to try to keep her teeth clean.
Kyle is super cute! He is really making sounds when I talk to him. He is also smiling. I call him "my morning boy," because in the morning he smiles the most. I think he may be a morning person. which would mean he is so far the only morning person in the family. He still wakes up every 5-6 hours at night to eat, then most of the time he goes right back to sleep. On Friday he got his shots. When Makayla got her shots, you wouldn't know by the end of the day that she had them. But Kyle hasn't been feeling good. And you can see where he got them because his leg is all red there. I have been told to rub it, it will hurt at first but it will help the mucels. I don't know if I can do it.
Bryan took some days off of work, and I think he is excited to go back. I think Bryan needs a break. lol.

teething trails

So far Makayla has been taking the whole teething thing well. Better than I expected. However the beginning of the week, she was acting sick. Then Tuesday she had a fever. And Tuesday night she didn't sleep at all. Almost the whole time she was awake she was screaming. From about 3am-7:30am she was wide awake. Finally 7:30am I put her in her crib and let her cry it out. I was exhausted. She slept for a couple of hours, that was good for her. So Wednesday morning I went to visit my parents, it is nice for all of us to get out of the house for a day. Bryan was able to stay home and sleep. Ironically Bryan planned to take Wednsday - Friday off just to take a break and get more sleep and he's now getting less. At least she is almost done teething. Unfortunally we are going to have to go through this all again with Kyle. Oh well, they are worth it.

Best of Times

We have moved to American Fork. It was an amazing thing. We applied to several different places with no response. We decided that we weren't meant to move and had about given up hope when a lady called about a house that was one of the first ones Bryan called about and left a message. She had been out of town for a couple of weeks and had just gotten back. We looked at the house, loved it, and turned in the application. We also decided if it didn't work out we weren't meant to move. We had less than a week to pack up, and a day to move all our stuff. It is times like that that you realize you have a lot of stuff. I just want to thank all the people that helped us that very long day.
So now we are settling in and liking it. It has taking Makayla a while to get used to it, but once we found her toys she seems to be enjoying being here more. She is starting to look through the cupboards and take out all the stuff she can, especially if it is food.
All-in-all we are very happy we have moved. We are hoping we will be here for a long while.

New Living Quarters

In order to save on gas, we have moved closer to work. We spent all day Tuesday moving and we are feeling it. I picked up the U-Haul truck at 10:30am, and with the help of My dad, my sister Lindsey, my neighbor Andy, and my friends Zuke, and Steve we had most of the place packed into the moving truck, a pickup truck, and two cars by 4:30pm. After that, there were two more pickup truck loads, and Heidi and I were all packed in by 2:30am then next morning :D YAY. I would like to thank all of you that helped in the moving process. I would especially like to thank Zuke and Mel for coming over last night to help unpack. It was a great blessing. The family room would have taken days to look how it looks now, and I'm sure the same applies with the kitchen. :D
